The Monkey Head Nebula is a large emission region located about 6400 light years away along the Orion-Gemini border.  The nebula is associated with the open star cluster NGC 2175.  This is about 24 hours of tricolor narrowband, with a C11 and SXVR-H694 under Bortle 7-8 skies.

It's a very good looking image and congratulations for having the patience (October 2020 thru January 2021) to capture the image. However, I had trouble recognizing the monkey since you've placed the back of the head at the bottom of the image.

Thanks James.  Yeah I suppose I should have titled it "NGC 2174, (Part of) the Monkey Head."  :)  My FOV is only 22 x 28 arcmins, so the whole target won't fit.  But at least the high contrast parts and the clearing at the center fit in.  I need a bigger chip!

Nice job Kevin! Really like the processing you did with this. Agree with James, the orientation got me, but it is a good take on it.
