OK, looks convincing but we have to be sceptical of course.

However, the overly ridiculous official statements from NASA regarding their "leaked" footage seem too contrived.

Well exactly the item I was referencing.

 

The journo writing this could've been employed dismissing the Moon landings. "Space Tiger King" and "Day of the Truffles". Very Goebbels.

It's a pretty ridiculous claim.  I would agree they are Hematite nodules as we see here on earth.

Not disagreeing with you regarding the lack of "journalism" regarding the "article" I linked. Maybe goofy pop references are the appropriate response to a single paragraph of hype.

Well, I'm convinced. Especially considering that these fungi nodules are located close to the canali. Put those two evidences together, and we have confirmation that not only does native life exist there but that the intelligent Martians like their mushrooms.    Tom
