Hey everybody,

I just started with EAA, after some years of relying solely on my eyes smile.gif

After a short skirmish with a cheap DSLR, I bought an entry level camera to start with, the Svbony SV305 Pro with Sony IMX290 CMOS sensor.

My question is related to the hot pixels - I know the mechanics and that you can fix them with darks, but I would like to know if those dark single frames for different exposure times are generating a "normal" amount of hot pixels for this Sony sensor, since it is pretty popular as far as I know. https://imgur.com/a/djaAI4G

Thanks in advance for willing to help me on this new road!

I have a mono ASI290MM and those hot pixels on the dark look pretty normal.
