I have the early middle AVX with the stock Celestron saddle. Is the ADM dual saddle worth the upgrade? Or even just the V series since all my hardware is vixon
Thanks
Patrick

Yes-it is beautifully made, leaves no damage or marks in a dovetail, and easier to seat or unseat/dog down.

I have had 2 AVX mounts. I put the ADM saddle, (the dual) on both. It has been one of the best modifications I've done.

I only have one AVX mount, but very quickly upgraded to the ADM dual saddle. It works fantastic, and also one of the best modifications I have done also.

Highly recommend it. For what my opinion is worth.

I just upgraded to the adm dual saddle, and upgraded my 8SE to a D series bar. It feels much more secure. My only complaint is that the alignment mark on the back of the adm saddle is invisible without a light. I'm hoping that some reflective paint will fix that.

Does anyone used Meade LX85 AC power adapter with Celestron AVX?

As long as it's a 3.5 amp supply. You're going to be fine

I've been told that connectors are different dia - 2.1 mm for Celestron and 2.5 mm for Meade.

Is it correct?

BTW - my Meade is 2.5 mm.
