I was about to start imaging and RA slew not moving. DEC moves fine. This was fine 3 weeks ago, no error in hand controller. It behaves just like no cable attached. The hand controller does show like it is slewing. You guys think its an RA board issue? Is there a way to do a factory reset on this mount? thanks.

I checked my receipt and this was purchased May 15, 2020 at highpointscientific so I think it is still under warranty.

Is it making a loud noise like the stepper motor is cogging?

Check that you have removed the RA locking pin.

Check that the RA clutch is engaged.

It might be the RA stepper is faulty and needs replacing. Or the RA board as you mentioned.

Good luck.

no noise at all, no hum and completely silent, unlike DEC. Firmware upgrade works on all RA, DEC and main board and HC. Similar to this thread..

I'd open the RA board cover and check all connections/plugs there.  Could be a loose motor connector.  If not, -> iOptron support.

I switch the board, I use the DEC board temporarily to make sure it is not the RA motor, and behold the RA is alive again and the issue moved to DEC. So 100% it is the RA board. waiting for RMA so they can ship a new RA board
