Dear observers,

finally I was lucky: Yesterday I could observe two comets with my 16x70 binocular. For me, binocular observations are very special, I like them a lot.

Comet Palmar is in the very near of the galactic cluster Messier 3, and it will be there in the next days. Probably, there are one or two night with less moon in the sky.

Yesterday I made a sketch of my observation. I measured a magnitude of 10m1. The comet is well condensed.

Nicely spotted! Also shows you don't always have to reverse colors at night sketching.
