I can't really say as to value of a broken scope but the mount should have value. One sold here in the last day or so for over $100.00 US. Also the polar scope may well be the most sought after component.(also the cheapest to ship)

Shipping is a factor in selling mounts and tripods. I sold the Celestron version of the mount and tripod last year for $119 to a local buyer. It did not have a polar scope.  The mount is unusual in that it can be rotated to the side and used as an alt az mount.

The Celestron Newtonian, made by Vixen did not add value. Buyers wanted the mount or the scope at the price of the mount or the scope.

Mounts in that condition bring $150-175 here in the U.S., but my Brazilian sources say that any mount is hard to find there, I guess that means it should bring a premium. If I had to ship one to Brazil I'd expect the postage would be at least $150 plus customs & insurance.

The 8V used an optical window to exclude dust and support the diagonal and optical corrector. If the you have the diagonal/optical corrector assembly it may be possible to have the window made or find one in someone's parts drawer. I think the primary mirror is about f/4.3-4.6. The corrector is what produces the 800mm focal length. Again given the scarcity in Brazil an ATM may want the mirror as the basis of a astrograph. Say $30-50 here.

The finder shoe and stalk $20 and the focuser maybe $30.
