I use SGP and took my laptop to a dark site a few nights ago. Despite turning the screen brightness all the way down, I was blinded by the screen every time I had glance at the screen. I am not aware the interface can be changed directly in SGP. Is there a Windows way of turning the interface to a dark background?

Thanks

I'm not sure if you already know this but Windows 10 has a 'Night Mode' which shifts the color scheme of your display towards red (also darkening it a bit), making it easier to look at your monitor when it's dark.

Stephanh,

I use a method that expands on the Windows 10 NightLight settings. It works very well for me. It does a much better job than just turning on the NightLight mode from the Windows notification area.

See the following two links for details. Some settings have been moved in Windows updates since working this out three years ago but you should be able to follow along and get it working.

The method makes all windows dark and not just red colored. Even the normally bright SGP user interface is turned dark rather than just being made more reddish.

Thanks! I 'll have a look at this. But why isn't this a feature of SGP?? Maybe in the newer version?
If it wasn't of the "center here" feature in SGP I would have switched to NINA a while back.
