May be I just got lucky on the Carson Lens

I have studied this issue more closely. The problem is that under the name "Carson" there can be different objectives in terms of mechanics.

But this is only a guess. There is no exact information.

I think c-mount is a serious risk for any PVS-14 objectives.

ArsMachina, I may not be able to get this message across in this forum to completion. Therefore, I leave the intermediate result.

TV 55/67 -> adapter M38.5x0.75 (female) 1.2"x32Tpi (male) -> PVS-14 lens with thread М28.5x0.5 -> adapter with stop plane with thread М28.5x0.5 (female) М31x0.75 (male) -> NV with М31x0.75 (female).

I thought C threads were a disaster ?  I assumed that the lens body broke up.

Yes it is.
I tried to make repairs. Spent a lot of time. Made one inner ring ~ 26.5 mm in diameter. Glued to "steel welding". Then I made an outer thin ring. Diameter 28.5 mm. Then I glued two parts with this ring.
But I don't have a specification for the exact dimensions between the glasses inside the objective. Outcome, failure.

The adapter(I) is needed to make a thread on the objective.
The adapter (II) is needed to do the objective test.

The second glass came to me. Most likely Fujinon (Carson?). It clearly has a shorter distance from the rear lens to the focal plane. Those the first I put together incorrectly (after the crash).
I hope that all the fuss is not in vain and Gavster is right and the stars in this will be better than in my second Fujinon (CF-75) and afocal in my Zeiss.

Subtotal.
Thread 28.5x0.5 mm - Ok.
Focus 1x and infinity. Does not work. Does not give NV inner restraint ring. Maybe 1 mm is missing (?) This is not critical for me, Zeiss Tevidon suits me.
Afocal TV67. Vignetting with the PVS-14 lens is clearly less than with Zeiss. What well. The focus will most likely work. The quality of the stars, time will tell. It has been cloudy for a long time. I expect good weather.

Looked between the clouds. Afocal. The focus is fine. Waiting for the good sky.

I would like to finish with a description of this mini-project.
In afocal with TV67 it works well. The telescope focuser makes it possible to sharpen the image with a small additional inward movement. An added bonus is the low weight of this lens.
Also, using a 31mm interface instead of c-mount is good. If I understand correctly, there is only one vignetting subject left, 2" paracorr-2.
I recommend this upgrade to the PVS-14 lens.

Additionally, I upgraded my old MoonLite focuser, as I did not like the 2" FT focuser mounting on two small screws (to which I added another).
MoonLite is a much stronger 4-screw mount to my telescope's carbon board.

Afocal use of NV requires a lot of console load and so far it works well on upgrade MoonLite.

Most excellent, good to know it worked out in the end.
