Figured no way I was going to see anything this morning but noticed a couple of breaks in the clouds so just grabbed my DSLR with no filter, etc, walked up the street and took a shot at the fastest shutter speed I could get and hoped I got something.  I thought I had totally missed it until I brought it into PS and noticed the "bite" out of the lower left corner so compared it to the "Approximate View" on TimeandDate.com.  Talk about dumb luck!  6:23 AM EDT from Mason, OH

Pretty cool Warren! I didn't have a chance here in Florida, we're too far south. So even getting a bit of shadow is a treat!

Very best,

Very best,

Yep, had I been at our cottage in Michigan I think it would have been 78% covered as it rose.

Nice! I was wondering how much we'd see. But of course I had the week off until today, so it had to be on my day back to work bawling.gif

Congrats, Warren! I didn't even think to try with the weather we were having and all! Great job!
