i'm not really sure what's going on here - i'm mostly just screwing around after not really doing any imaging for a bit.

i think i've just ended up with a noisy ring nebula with the colors blown out, but i guess the 'shell' around it came out.  funny thing is that none of my frames register anywhere near saturation in the pixels.

a couple of hundred frames of RGB at 30 seconds each.  no darks, just master bias, and very fast/loose processing.  zwo ASI6200.

Hard to say without seeing the raws, loks like a processing issue. As well focus seems to be a bit off?

Looks like a over exposed deep space amoeba but the star colors are semi decent smile.gif

Other than that, it's pretty deep.

M57 is a strange target.

I imaged it , about over two hours 60 sec subs. It got me a thin reddish outer halo , blue OIII but disturbed with 2 white spots ...

I thought at first it was over exposed but i don't think so...what is causing it , dunno...

Over-stretched.

I did the same first pass from a set of images I took last night.  Re-did the stretch (this was in StarTools), and it came out perfect.
