We had a series of clear nights this week, so I caught a whole bunch of photons.  Both taken with:

Orion 200mm f/4 Newtonian

Atik 383L+

 

NGC 6633 is an open cluster.

10x 300s L, 1x1

8ea 120s RGB, 2x2

NGC 6559 is a combination emission and reflection nebula.

6x 600s Ha, 1x1

Very nicely done Kathy.  I am a particular fan of open clusters, and your processing of NGC 6633 is superb. I'll definitely be adding it to my "wish list" of targets.

I believe I have the same telescope and it's good to see what its capabilities are when I advance my skills a bit. Thanks for sharing.

Great images! And I love the open cluster. You did an excellent job of making the cluster stars stand out from the background. I find it deceptively difficult to achieve this in my OC images.
