Hi

Im dual imaging with a osc and mono asi183's. I have a Astronomik 12nm Ha filter which i use with the mono. What OII and SII filters should i get? I can rule out Astrodon and Chroma, which leaves me with
Zwo
Optolong
Astronomik
Baader

I will be using it on the osc which i know is not ideal but its what i have to work with

Astronomik is probably the best option because it has the least problems with halos and offers good contrast. The latest generation of ZWO isn't bad either.

Astronomik for OIII.   I have no halo with it around stars.  Maybe I got lucky with a good lot#.

It is much better than the Baader nd optolong I tried.

Baader for SII is good and cheaper I believe...?  I don't know about Optolong for that one.

YMMV

I recently ordered Optolong O-III 6.5nm 2". Friend of mine has 1.25" and it has no halos around stars ! Will test mine when it arrives.

Why not Antlia? I have two - a 3.5nm [OIII] and 3nm Pro Ha and both work great.

Are you using the 12nm or the 6nm OIII?

Sorry, I just saw your question.   I have the 6nm version.    I just went to their website and see they have a new "MFR" coated filter.  I don't know anything about this coating.

Two sets of Astronomiks already and I love them. Never had halo issues.

Astronomik is good bang for the buck, decent filters and they are all parafocal.
