I posted this question on the Starkeeper website, but no one in the United States has responded. My problem is: It appears that you now have to have a virtual phone number to send SMS messages using Nexmo (Vonage) if living in the United States. Does anyone who lives in the United States send themselves text messages if there is an error in Dragscript. If so, what is required and how is it set up in Dragscript? I have a Vonage account but not a virtual phone number.

I’m wondering if there is a way of accessing the Windows 10 “Your Phone” app though Dragscript to send a text message to my android phone? I’ve always got my phone with me but don’t always have access to my email. That’s why I’d rather use text messaging rather than email for Dragscript to notify me of any problems.

Thanks for your input.

Dennis

If the software can send email, most US providers have a email to text service. E.g. for Verizon it's yournumber@vtext.com

I posted a while back how to do this for Verizon and AT&T accounts on the Voyager forum.

Thanks gmiller123456 and iwannabswiss for the info. I didn't know that. iwannabswiss, yes, I found your post on Voyager forum. I had searched previously, but I guess I didn't use the right search terms the first time.

I was on a mobile device at time of writing my reply, sorry I couldn't directly copy and provide the link at the time.  I'm glad you were able to find it; I hope it helps out.
