Does anyone publish double star lists with current observing information and HIP numbers for the stars?

I'm using an iOptron mount that uses the HIP catalogue for stars.

Thanks!

Hi Michael,

I see by your footnote, that you're a software developer.

If you're handy with SQL joins, I imagine you could join the following data sources from the Washington Double Star catalogue:

HDS(WDS)-Hipparcus cross reference: http://www.astro.gsu...pprobframe.html

WDS SQL Database: http://www.astro.gsu...xtfiles/wds.sql

Or import them into a decent spreadsheet application. As both are simple text files, you define the delimiter, name the fields and let the program do all the work. waytogo.gif

Clear skies.

Following up, there is also a facility in Stelle Doppie to setup custom fields for display, You can then export. HIP is included.
