My views between clouds this early morning, caught the GRS, Red Spot abit early as was just clearing the far edge, still a fun observation.
Still catches my attention on how less color it has, as recalled some even red color just decades ago in my youth. Still has some Size!
Conditions again between clouds, some chase focus with abit of instability, but always Rewarding! Sky changes each evening quite alot here in the Midwest!
Better view with current conditions a 7mm older Celestron Ortho, recently purchased...
Clave 8mm, 6mm ortho, Nagler 4.8mm during best conditions..

Caught this by surprise this morning. Had a new lifetime best view of Jupiter to go with it. Very still air. You could see the "eye liner" of the GRS very clearly in the 15" with binoviewers operating at around 214x magnification.
Two very pronounced barges transiting as well.
