No news of if it will make it in to an astrocam but it is more sensitive to ir than the imx485 so I’m thinking someone will try it, from my experience with the 485 it’s a nice size 4K chip to frame most stuff but still small enough to not have to fool with field flatteners https://www.sony-sem...2021062901.html

I dunno but qhy did a pretty good job with the 485 so I bet they can tame it…. Came across it looking to see if Sony had any larger sizes of the 462 coming, player one released a 464 which is double the size but still pretty small…. Was hoping for a 4K chip with specs of the 462…. 585 might be as close as we get….. if we get it
