Hi, I am trying to find an adapter that would reduce the LX85 Mak-Cas's native 2"x24 UNC male thread to M48x0.75 male.

Searches online are ignoring the UNC thread and return with 2" nominal body diameters with plethora

of adapters. I've run out of different wording options for the searches - hopefully someone  knows who offers these.

Thank you.

Sounds like it uses the SCT thread.  So what you need is an SCT VB thread to 48mm T2 adapter. Generally those don't come as low profile but instead the tube is around 2-3" long so it will reach focus for use as a telephoto. Length doesn't matter for use as an astro telescope.

Use this adapter:

SCT to male T2:   https://agenaastro.c...table-t-02.html

Also this one from Astronomics, our sponsor: https://www.astronom...-t-adapter.html

Have fun,

Jeff
