Hi all,

After several failed attempt, I finally was able to complete a session for Rho Ophiuchi. Please take a look at my video of the night of capture. It almost didn't happen!

Thank you!

Please check out my channel, consider subscribing, and help me grow. I've got several reviews lined up, and I'm just waiting for some clear nights unfortunately. (Can't exactly lug big heavy equipment to a dark site)

Glad you got the power problem solved so you were able to take the shot!

I used to haunt the SF Bay area...is Los Altos Hills really that dark?

We'd usually go down to Henry Coe or Fremont Peak...

Page Mill Road is said to be bortle 5. But I don't know how long of an update was that. Because if I were to look to the Northern and Eastern horizon, there are strong glows and city light pollution spilling over. Southern and Western horizon is actually quite dark, dark enough for me to make out the Milky Way with my naked eyes.
