Tecnosky, TS & APM sell large fork mounts for big binoculars and mid-size refractors.

As sadly the Hercules is no longer made, the above may be good rivals to the TV Gibraltar mounts.

For short refractors they all look good. On the larger APM, its altitude adjustment knobs look impressively robust. Does anyone have experience of these mounts?

I've used the APM with big binos. They worked well. (had encoders on too)

The Tecnosky looks like a very shallow depth to the mounting flange. Too shallow to get the centre of gravity of large scopes/binos on axis I suspect?

There’s also this https://www.teleskop...Binoculars.html

Binocs or a scope bolt on top, two counterweights go on the add either side to balance.
