Hello, smile.gif

Just a quick passage for sharing with you a humble initiative from my part concerning the elaboration a Youtube channel dedicated to night vision technology (mainly Vis/NIR and LWIR) and DIY experiments, whole of them mostly dedicated to real time night vision astronomy or night sky observation in general, without any post treatment, using image intensifier (venerable P8079HP, old MX10160) but also CMOS camera (ZWO IMX290 MM "mini") and vintage material like camera Orion SSDSMI II (ICX 428/429 monochrome) or WATEC 120n+, a bit of Runcam Night Eagle 2 pro also.

It is still in process for re-organizing and feeding data. This channel has to be seen as a kind of logbook we could traditionally find in any kind of labs, under paper version. A collection of experiments and experimental data concerning projects and applications a simple hobbyist may be able to implement with reasonable budget spread in time and DIY spirit

If it can be useful in any manner, i would be happy.

I was hesitating to post in EEA section...

If this thread is not pertinent in this specific section of the forum, just tell me, or remove it without delay.

Enjoy and pick up infos, if you consider it useful.

Best regards.

Here, just a more general and understandable view from my messy ( blush.gif ) setup used for "multi spectral" experiments....

Hello. smile.gif

Here is a last recent input in my YT "logbook".

The purpose is to summarize some of my DIY setups which i really use regularly, after years of some "Darwin" selective process... laugh.gif

The presentation is crude, rudimentary,... Sorry for that. I tried just to go to the essential and to keep a trace which, i hope, may be useful for someone, and at least for supporting my vanishing memory... laugh.gif

Hello. smile.gif

Just a nice night spend outside, yesterday, with the good old P8079HP and a 50mm/0.75 lens, and enjoying the fresh air sea on the shore of the North Sea, and not missing a quite clear night awaited since days, in this terrible month of August... :/ laugh.gif

Here is the "crop"....

Details in the descriptions. Videos being a bit long, do not hesitate to go forward, some more interesting events being chronologically listed in said descriptions...

Best regards.
