Hi

Does anyone know if the zwo 60mm f4.6 guider provided sharp stars for guiding purposes?

The similar 60mm f4 240mm is really bad.

Cheers
Andre

I use a ZWO 60 mm f=280 mm guider, Works like a charm...PHD2 never has issues with finding a guide star, calibrating and guiding...

It comes also with 2 metal dovetails, one of the can be use in a finderbracket (allthough i would not recommend that).

Anyhow , with that dovetail flex is avoided.

Hi
Thanks
What guide camera you use? Can you focus easily? Stars are sharp?

I use it with a ZWO 120mini and 120MM-S and I've never had an issue. I like it because it has a slightly longer focal length than many other 60mm guide scopes out there.  I think you get a little better accuracy out of it, assuming my logic is correct.

Probably cause the intention was to use it with an RC 8' in my case so a scope with a long FL, but eventually gave up on that idea.

Still i don't regret the guide scope nor the guide camera, never had issues.
