Hi All,

Has anyone heard anything about how the AZ100 tracking feature is coming along?   It's been awhile since the last update (maybe I missed it).

Not a word yet, and I look for the announcement here and on their website every day.

A few weeks back I exchanged an email with Derek. They are testing.

Hope that is finished soon. The money is burning a hole in my pocket . . .

I do like the look of the Rowan AZ100 however I’ve never used one personally tho.looks wise definitely seems to have a losmandy tone going on there! From an engineering sense anyway. however to be completely truthful you most probably be looking at the best part of £2000+With goto+ slewing, and for my money on a more personal note I would prefer the skywatcher AZ-EQ6GT.

How is the tracking set-up going to work? Will a wedge be needed?  What else apart from the motors?

From what I read at various place, just the hand controller, the motor kit and a Nexus DSC. I don't know if that has to be the Pro version, but I am covered.
