Has anyone used a daystar quark chromo verison and asi290mm to achieve full disk imaging?
The daystar quark has a 4.3x barlow effect and the 290 sensor is a small chip.
Simulated by stellarium, I need about 50mm to 70mm focal length with the 290.
Perhaps a 50mm DSLR lens can meet my needs.
I can stop down the aperture by front mounted filter to make the whole system working around f30.
Can they work with the Daystar quark?
How do they perform?
Will I encounter any problem using this setup?
The full imaging train is:
50mm (or 70mm) DSLR lens, maybe a Pentacon M42 lens, canon EF mount lens, or Sony E mount lens.
But I think the Sony E mount lens could be not enough back focus (18mm flange focal distance) for the quark?
If possible I would love to use Sony E mount lens.
I guess I will need an extension tube?
I dont actually know what length the extension tube I need. Please advice me.

I am not looking at the camera quark because I will use it with other refractor scope.
Thanks in advice!
