It's no news that many of us live in regions where wild fire smoke makes the hobby even more challenging.

I managed to collect 52 subs a week ago from the city under smoky skies.

It is just now that I have some time to process the data while my imaging rig is shooting the Dumbbell Nebula outside.

Here is what I was able to pull out of the stack.

Equipment: ES ED80, Starfield 1.0x flattener, L-eNhance, full spectrum D5300.

I'm just south of you and didn't go out to try and gather any light because of the smoky cap. Not sure if I detect any effect on your image.

Yeah, we're all covered here. But I decided to image anyway and I think it was worth it.

That is a nice shot! the fact that you even gave it a try through smoke is impressive enough and paid off.

Great image! Almost looks like it is composed of smoke itself.

It is always something.

Fire smokes in the US..and just clouds and clouds and clouds over Belgium...not a chance to shoot anything over here..;
