Anyone have any experience with Dome Parts Optical observatory systems (https://www.astrogfk.com/)? Looks like they're out of Germany. I came across an observatory build video on YouTube (https://www.youtube....h?v=2ie4GrbD8x4) and was pretty impressed... it's like the Ikea version of a DIY observatory build. Anywhere from $1900-8600 in USD for their ROR depending on size. I don't know if they ship to the US but their website does indicate they have installations in the US. I'm sure freight shipping overseas would be a pretty penny, but maybe not out of the realm of possibility.

I sent an email and they got back to me pretty quick: shipping the smallest ROR (the micro) to Wisconsin from Germany would cost about $4100 USD, and shipping the mega (11.5' x 11.5') would cost about $6900 USD. So that mega comes out to about $14000-15000 USD shipped.
