The SD Glas is FCD 100 ( before there was a typo error saying FCD199)

 

right now the telescope is by Wellenform to perform a full interferometrical checking, include star test, and color testings.

 

I self will see it on thuesday and do spec check, also weight check etc. and make some true pictures

 

during next week we get a much better impression how it turned out in the real world :-)

Can you share with us the size (length, dew shield and tube diameter etc) with us?

How many ED elements does it have? Thanks.

Optical tube with tube clamps, rail, carrying handle 26 kg
Length with rope cap retracted 113 cm
Length with extended dew cap 125 cm
Dew cap length 38 cm
Dew cap diameter 23 cm
Tube diameter 20,5 cm

 

Objectiv is a triplet airspacest

Wow it looks very compact. The end rings look special, any special design there? Seems the focuser can be removed easily for storage and transportation?
