Hey guys! Not the best of nights, but I wanted to try out my new cam, a QHY5III485C. Shooting through high clouds is never fun. One thing for sure though, it's really nice to switch in the camera and have the planet on the chip first try with no searching. Details are at bottom of image.

Its a top camera if it gets the planet on the chip first try!

Nicely defined Io there and what can be seen on Jupiter is well presented.

...If I threw out every 'shooting through high clouds' Jupiter this year I would have very little left....and I think these would mostly be  images in terrible seeing because those same clouds were not present  and reducing the temperature differentials.smile.gif

Aha! First off the ranks with a 485 sensor camera. Sounds like a roaring success already. Can't wait for mine :)
