You may yet find tat the lens in the holder just in front of the primary mirror is part of a Dall-Kirkham-Dall modification where an erector transfer lens is incorporated.  This modification allows a smaller secondary to be used as the transfer lens picks up the focal point well inside the OTA.  If this is the case, no primary baffle is needed to avoid sky flooding.  If the view through the telescope provides an erect image without a diagonal it would confirm the modification..

Looking through the axial port the image is inverted.

Well first light did not go so well. For some reason the relay lens focuser knob is not turning. I couldn’t reach focus because of this. I am not sure what the issue is inside, but I can not access that section of the scope. There is a seam where it should separate, but unlike the front cell and the rear cell, there are no visible fasteners on the outside. I can take the focuser section off with the prism exposing the other end of the relay lens screw. I figured removing the two brass thumb screws would do it, but it’s not budging.

Was this with or without an eyepiece?
