G'day DSLR imagers,

Sorry, I meant to post these last week. I had a night of exceptional seeing on the 10th, and my stock Canon 600D/T3i was up to the challenge:

Excellent results!

Did you shoot the data as a movie or as a series of still frames?

Thanks Mark!

I do Live View capture with AstroDSLR 1.3 (for Mac OS). Version 1.3 saves the stream into an .mp4 container and eeks out 9.5 fps. Later versions save the stream as files, but they peak at 5 fps.

Thanks!

I'm shooting LiveView capture over USB, which gets encoded as H.264 video in an .mp4 container.

What lens or telescope did you use?  Mount?

This was through a Skywatcher 7-in f/15 Maksutov-Cassegrain telescope with eyepiece projection.

The setup rode on an Orion SkyView Pro GoTo equatorial mount.
