October 9, Venus, moon, Scorpius:  There's a nice grouping of brilliant Venus, the crescent moon, and the three stars that make the head of Scorpius.  All five nicely fit into a binocular field.  The quintet will not be this close together again until October 10, 2029.  About 45 minutes after sundown find a clear horizon toward the southwest.  For more info: https://whenthecurve...-scorpius-head/
