The winds have died down, but they're still there. Fortunately the mount is in the middle of the lawn, polar aligned. So I stuck with just 3 rubber bands—if nothing more than for workflow automation. Jupiter's size required a bit of steering during a couple of gusts, but things stayed completely on the screen on the first try:
The seeing was…well, curious. There were fine details on the screen, but I had to use extra Smart Sharpening and wavelets to bring it out of the stack. And more curiously, my wavelet edge management also smoothed out the surface really nicely. A little too much for my taste; but the fully sharpened as just a lighten layer gave an excellent compromise between noise and detail.
