Has anyone heard whether the volcano has affected the observatories on Tenerife?  Apparently, a sulfur dioxide cloud from the volcano on La Palma has reached Europe.

So far, what I've heard is that they're safe for now, as the prevailing wind carries the ash and acids away from the observatories. They do keep a keen eye on the situation, obviously.
