Any downside to buying an over-sized Telegizmos cover?

The only scope/mount combo I would leave out right now is a small refractor on a CEM25P mount. But longer-term plans include up to possibly an 8" SCT (on a beefier mount). Is there any reason to not just buy an SCT-sized Telegizmos 365 now, rather than needing a larger cover in the future?

Might drag the floor/ground, and you could trip on it. Dog/cat could play with it.

I use one for my refractor and it works fabulously.

When I bought a cover for my 25" I ordered one for a 30" f/5. Plenty of room for my finders and the stalk for the ArgoNavis. Cost wasn't to much different.

Thanks all. One less thing to have to buy twice.

I think it's good to have some spare space for finder, telrad, etc.
The telegizmo for my 16" could also fit a 18". Works very well.
