I'm building a new pier, and could've sworn I saw a thread here that recommended a particular auto year/make/model brake disc that fits the mount well.

I've done some searching and can't find it.  Can someone please help me out with which disc to use?

I have an existing 4'x4' concrete slab that I'm going to try a Todmorden type pier on.  Thanks, Jim

If you're able to drill three holes, you can remove the legs from the tripod and mount the top adapter to a pier.  The holes, properly located (Their location is obvious when you look, three round casting marks) will not damage the tripod adapter and it can be reassembled at any time.
