This seller does not think his 13.1 is a toy at his price:

I scored one exactly in the middle between these two extremes in price, lol.

we recall exactly what you said about the last one you had..."The biggest problem with the scope is its thermals"

Hence your comments about its limitations?

The mirror cell is closed and it's in a Sonotube. Cooldown time is a big pain in colder weather....

It will go for 30k or more.

It's one of those new "make offer" / auction combo listings so he could accept even a lower offer than $20K, but probably won't.

6+ months ago this was very high on my list of dream-scopes -- a Carton CST-100KX (100mm f/13 achromat) OTA, for sale now on Zen-Market:

https://zenmarket.jp...ode=r1016066388

But having just acquired a used Vixen ED115S f/7.7 FPL-53 doublet OTA, I think I'm all set for the foreseeable future.  (( I decided I should look for a slightly larger step-up in aperture from my Polaris-80L, and the ED115 was a good deal on a scope having double the light gathering power of the 80mm with optics I was confident would be exquisite )).  Still, as an homage to the handsome CST-100KX, I think I'm going to paint the all-white ED115's focuser, finder-bracket, tube rings and handle Navy Blue ... indeed I find the Vixen ED115S OTA's albino look quite unappealing, personally ... but happily what it lacks in appeal to look _at_ is more than compensated by its visual appeal when looking _through_ .....

Shrine mannon   HOC  version       like this one    price has been reduced

https://www.cloudyni...scopemountcase/

I thought it was worth the original price.  Definitely worthwhile now.

If I didn't have my Yamamoto version already all tweaked and properly mounted I'd jump on that one.

Anyone that wants a 60mm refractor: this is what you should buy.

Saw this scope up in Irwin PA- just reduced to $250

It is a cool ATM reflector on a really beefy looking pedastal mount

Really interesting long focal length guide scope

https://www.facebook...f7-4a82f4efc703

It is a 6" F8 with a 2" guide scope and 1" regular finder. Some misc. udefined accessories.

It says in the ad to use a pm so to me that condones a pm so sometimes it's good to state the option and ask for a pm here for contact.  Then the guy says to pm him.

But i can't pm on Face book since i don't have face book. I already called him and someone got some of it already.  I plan to look at it all Mon and the G8 is missing the shaft and weights. So i may buy some of it or all of it or none of it after i check it out.

I don't want to deal with any of that type of stuff. I don't do SM.

FINALLY! SOMEONE WHO GETS IT!

We also have nothing to do with those anti-social media and never will! What a complete and utter wasteland those have become!

Now, just to get us back on track AND to keep this "legal", here is an old scope that is in need of some TLC: https://zenmarket.jp...Code=1016143315 Currently only 2000 yen ($17.55 USD) but, only one day left to bid with only one other competitor. Go for it! You know that one of you wants it! You can feel it calling you. Obey the voices!

BWHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

But wait! There's more!

Try this one on for size! https://zenmarket.jp...ode=v1015892900. This is a deal! Currently, only 56,550.00 yen! ($496.25 USD) but, you have a bit of competition. There are 51 bids, 22 hours left and 130 people in the wings watching. LOL According to the minimal notes supplied, the "monitor" does not work. I'm doing my best to figure that one out but, I suspect it is the motor drive which is the problem. (Japanese is not an easy language, trust me. I'll spare you the lecture about three different character sets and verb placement and usage. LOL)

Be one of the few, the proud, the owner of a PENTAX MS-3 75EDHFII with a BX124 EQ mount! Travel the heavens in style which only the few can enjoy! (Remember, Pentax stopped making telescopes in 2008 so, your chances are getting slim to get one.) Go for it! You know you deserve it! You've earned this one!

BHWAHA! BHWAHA!! BHWAHA!!! BHWAHAHAHAHAHA!

OK. I'm done being bored. I have to actually go do something constructive today, such as work!

See ya' later, alligators!

I don't do much of that media stuff either, but it is a tool that can be used.  Joining doesn't mean you have to log in every day to keep up with your "friend" people. You may have gotten bothered by spam calls, but you still have the phone.  I have gotten many good telescope deals from FB marketplace in the last couple of years, so thankfully not everyone looks.
