 I posted this image earlier and got some great feedback on it. My previous

image was plagued with blown out stars. Thank you Zoran for the tips

on improving the image. Thanks to all the members for the kind words as well.

 

Scope: SVR-90T           Flattener: Astrotech ( no reduction )

Mount: Losmandy GM8 Gemini II       Guidescope: William Optics ZS66

Camera: ASI 294mc pro         Guide camera: ASI 120 mini

Astrophotography Tools and PHD2 for aquisition.

Processed using Deepsky Stacker, Photoshop 2021 and Starnet++

 

79 lights - 15 darks - 25 flats - 25 dark flats nearly 4 hours integrated.

Caldwell 9 is a very dim emission nebula in Cepheus.

Its distance is ~3000 Light years. This is dynamic star forming region.

Reflection and dark nebulae are also seen in this area.
