Got my shipment of instant gratification today.

And boy am I high!

The rubber coating is sublime sort of organic.

In a synthetic sort of way.

Very smooth and sensuous.

A-Hem.

The Optics are very nice. Almost no reflection.

But it isn't an ED! You exclaim.

True.

But.

I live in a forest. I don't have a back yard.  And just a patch of front.

So this afternoon, I ripped the cover off and discovered.

A Genuine Hand Filled Out Quality Checklist. Initials KBB or D?

A photo of the Founder of Oberwerk, Smilin' Kevin Busarow. On a very fancy Line Card.

Top quality cardboard printed on one side only.

2 straps. The free one is much better.

And the binoculars.

Eye relief can be measured with a ruler. A Calibrated Lab Ruler.

1/2 to 3/4 of an inch. Estimating because I left my ruler at work.

Nonetheless, there is heaps.

But your mileage may vary.

I don't need glasses of contact lenses. So I might pick up on more eye relief than some of you.

I mentioned the Optics so it is with great sorrow that although it is the best binocular I have looked through so far.

The afternoon Sun highlights twigs and stems in the forest.

A good test of a binocular may be seeing those twigs and stems through this binocular.

Yes it certainly isn't an ED.

Yes there is apparently a violet outline that is sometimes green around the outline of those twigs and stems.

But depending on how my eyes spin around in my head, it isn't there.

Mostly it is though.

But for the money and treatment (2 day shipment on time)

And the sort of nice gifts.

Although, despite the small outline the detail in the shiny part was still Very Nice.

You may encounter different results viewing the shiny parts.

As we all have a different view.

But still.........

I wish the lens cap on all my stuff was like the front lens cap on these.
