The information has been extremely helpful!

Still deciding. Having only owned one mount in the past, the Skywatcher seems to be the safest choice. However, the Ioptron sure is alluring. Decision time soon!

 

I’m ready to get familiar with one of these and get back to

imaging soon!

I went with the HEQ5 Pro.

 

After spending a week in a spare room with it (bad weather) I finally got out with it on 10/30.

 

Lots of experimenting with N.I.N.A. Guiding settings and also “The Brain” in PHD2, I’ve got a work in process going.

 

So far, I really like the mount and I’m very happy with it.

 

I will soon post a first light.
