Lion Nebula, SHO

Might be the last image done with my TS Photoline 130 for a while, as I discovered it was somewhat out of collimation during this project (it's currently back in Germany for repairs)

21.5 hours total.

HFR was a bit worse on my S2 subs, so I struggled a bit taming red outlines on the final combo image, but the final image is still acceptable (to me at least) - so long as you don't pixel peep too hard.

Thanks for looking!

This is a fantastic image!  I’m using the same scope and it’s been wonderful, so I hope you get those issues sorted out sooner than later.  It’s truly a great scope for the money.  If that’s what it can do not at its best.. well, that’s all I have to say! Well done my friend!

Wonderful image!

Is TS doing the work for you or someone else? Curious to know who does collimation work.

I sent a picture of the miscollimated elements as viewed through a collimating eyepiece, and T-S offered to take it back for inspection and repair. I tried in vain to adjust collimation myself, but could never get all three elements to align perfectly. Likely a lens loosened in the cell in transit (though T-S does package their scopes REALLY well)
