I have a new StarSense;hooked it up last night but it could not connect to the camera for some reason. Has anyone had similar problems?

Are you using the StarSense hand controller it came with instead of the NexStar hand controller with your mount?

What mount are you trying to use it with?

As stated above, make sure you're using the StarSense hand control.  Also make sure the cable is plugged into the back of the camera and into an AUX port on the mount (or the hand control), not the autoguide port.

It's possible that if you've done all that, the cable could be bad.  Unfortunately I can't really help you with how to test that.
