I just went with the "Buy now, think later" philosophy. Had $30 in rewards credits sitting on the Amex card.  Now I need to figure out how best to use it with my shiny new AWB OneSky, and then, after I get better at it and also finish recapping the control boards, my 8" LX200.

Thanks for the heads-up. I didn't notice the date of your post, so I assumed it was old and hit the link in a "oh, what the heck. I'll see what I missed" mode and was shocked to realize this was a current post...

When the sale started they had 400 of these listed for sale. Right now it's showing 90 left so I am assuming this sale will go on until the remaining 90 are sold. Because I just looked and it's still on sale for $37.99 on the 25th.

I'm curious to hear what people make of this camera for EAA. One of the serious limitations of this camera for EAA  DSO captures is that the maximum sub-exposure is limited to 0.5secs, unless that has changed. There is a discussion of it in this thread.
