Hi folks,

I saw a thread in the Celestron subforum about a GPSD bug that will hit this weekend (Sunday).  The fix is supposed to be in gpsd 3.23; Astroberry appears to be on 3.17, but claims it's current.

My Pi-4B currently has an RTC for time, but on my to-do-someday list is to get a GPS working for location as well.

Is there anything that needs to be done here?

Any version of GPSD anterior to 3.19 doesn't have the bug so you're fine with 3.17

The bug was introduced in a git commit in version 3.19 and fixed in version 3.23

All major distribution seem to use version 3.17

Wow.  Thanks for the information.

I'll call off the dogs (er, C++ compiler).
