I checked most of US retailers, and I didn't see any reflectors in stock. When will they be available?

apparently there is not a shortage of 8" ones. at least in the EU.

10" is another story, especially for the nicer 'deluxe' ones of various manufacturers.

im in the same spot. seems around january.

That didn't stop John Dobson! Get some port-hole glass, beach sand - start grinding..... then look for some old hose reels for tube parts......  smirk.gif

BTW - I have a North American made telescope on order - being held up by - waiting for a spider and 3D printed secondary mirror holder - made in America...... no ships involved.

This situation kinda reminds me of getting a telescope in the 1960's...... it could take forever. A while back a guy found a complete 6-inch Unitron refractor from the 1960's still in its shipping boxes, stored in the attic. Apparently his father had ordered it -- and died the week after it finally arrived. It was left in the attic for 50 years unopened.

Equivalent Q to "When's it going to rain?"

Only more difficult and less familiar to most of us.

This is not the answer to the question, but consider to shop for a used scope if looking for one.

Across multiple venues.

Then be quick on response, because other folks are shopping them too.  : )

I am looking for imaging reflectors.

Orion's 10" f/4 Newtonian Reflector Astrograph is in stock.

Also FarPoint has the FIN200 Farpoint Imaging Newtonian Telescope 8" f/4 - one left!

Just hope they aren’t on this ship that just off the beach at the end of my road.

Let’s hope the fire truly is contained because it’s about to get slammed with the heavy winds that are being predicted.  https://www.theweath...ritish-columbia
