This is my first attempt doing something like this. I used my 8" F6 Cave Newtonian with my ASI174MC-Cool on my EQ6. Each image is a 2 panel mosaic. Each individual panel consisted of the best 20% of 1000 frames. I wanted to start at New Moon but Mother Nature had other ideas. So I'm doing a waning sequence I guess. The forecast looks clear for at least the next few days as well, so I will continue until I complete it or Mother Nature intervenes. The software used was FIrecapture, AS3, Registax, Image Composite Editor and Photoshop CS4.
