Got a one hour window of both clear skies and before I had to start working and managed to glance at AR2887, AR2888 and a huge prominence on the limb in their vicinity.

Conditions were decent+, I would say seeing was 3.5/5 and I took advantage of it before I had to close shop and start working. Sadly I could not leave the rig working to create my desired animation of that prom as annoying clouds crept in.

Today was the first time I actually worked with FireCapture instead of SharpCap. Still need to find some of options and get used to the interface but it looks good.

First image will be of all the mentioned features. As I used my bigger scope, it was hard to keep all of them in the frame and I missed some parts of both ARs, but all in all, I am very fond of this image. Images were rotated by 180 degrees for viewing purposes:

I also tried few closeups on the active areas themselves to some degree of success:

Thank you Warren!

It is a huge and active prom, hope to try a closeup animation on my next imaging window.

Excellent work Ilan!

The only downside is still a too big scale (on some photos) for such an aperture. This removes sharpness from the pictures and forces the impression of a poor focus and poor seeing.

If I can't get a sharp image I trying a smaller scale, so smaller untill the picture becomes sharp enough.

Hope this helps.

Valery
