Thanks.

Frankly, this kit has been thought for beginners, and it can be  made by beginners...

What you need is to be able to put some glue on a piece of wood, tighten clamps, use a screw driver or tighten some bolts and nuts.  All the wooden pieces are cut in order to be easily assembled.  And the construction manual helps for all the details.

(But obviously, if you never used a screw driver, or never thigthened a bolt and nut, this might not be the best occasion to begin...).

You will not have to cut anything, or made holes. They are already predrilled.

Therefore, there will be no dust, except at the end, for some sanding.

Such similar kit is available for scopes from 12" up to 24" with the same philosophy.  Many have already been made, and the construction manual is constantly improved,, taking into account the comments of the first builders.

No idea what their prices were four years ago but now they are in Obsession $$$ territory.  I'll buy a ready made scope for those dollars.
