When I bought my Astroscan the diagonal mirror had fallen inside !

The seller's kids broke the diagonal off it's mount.

I glued it back on and everything was back in business !

The old cement was half on the back of the mirror and half on the

mount so when I epoxied it back the old glue 'Keyed' together so

it went back on in EXACTLY the same spot.

60mm mania

Neat little early 60s Monolux 4352 ( Towa 9TE ) in wood box, if you like that kind of thing

Scrambled Lafayette. Since it's all in pieces it's probably topped before any bids.

I like these, it's tempting, but if something is missing from that mount and/or they poorly pack it,

what'cha gonna do?

I think they finally lowered the price on this Monolux

Vixen 60L

Kind of pricey for it's condition and the tube mount looks homemade (conduit clamps)

What's with the magic ink? hmm.gif

I believe he's simply showing the clarity of the optic.  -You know... the Magic Ink test. grin.gif

-By the way:  those aren't conduit clamps; they are original to the mount.  Check the 60L on page 6 here:

Cheers.

This one certainly is a classic! It's a classic joke! Don't these people ever do any research at all?

https://www.ebay.com...IsAAOSwDGVg-4Ja

For $525.00 I think any of us could acquire at least 20 to 25 of these with the tripods and maybe even a telescope or two!  LOL

$525 and no counterweight or shaft... well at that price you do sort get the shaft.

Here's basically the same mount for ten times less ($50) and even that's too much.

Speaking of $550 boat achors, yes it's uncommon but it's missing way too much.

If it was complete....eh shrug.gif
