Hello everyone,
As you know, I'm an NV vendor but also an NV hobbyist.

What kind of new night vision accessory/widget/innovation would you wish into reality?
If it sounds realistic, I'll do my best to make it available for all NV devices.

Color "add on" for MOD3. Similar to what TNVC has for one of their NV models.

Just commenting to say this is the way Jonathan. You should make all OVNI accessories available to everyone.

nightvisionastronomy.com produced an NV device years ago where you used both eyes to see the object, but your head was some distance away.  The image appeared floating in space.  I only saw it once at Ward Pound Ridge, a site used by Westchester Astronomy club, where the designer was a member and had sold one to the fellow using it.  Put my collins i3 to shame; got rid of it soon after. 

 

This is what I remember, but it had a white phosphor.  I can afford one now.

Ability to intensify OIII and H-B emission lines vs only IR (H-a), like with with a GaN or other widebandgap semiconductor based PMT.  Could use UHC filter to filter out out LP and then intensify the leftover photons.

Intensifiers are less sensitive away from the deep red, so less use for OIII as reported by some observers. As gas as I understand the “binocular photon machine” actually used a binoviewer element from an old Russian NV contraption. Think only one or two batches were ever made.
