I have been looking at getting a 12” RC for imagining. When I look at Orion,Ioptron and TPO they all look identical with almost identical specs. Leads me to believe they are all made by the same manufacturer. Anyone know if this is the case?

I think they are all made by a manufacturer called GSO.

You planning to use one with film ?

b/c even with a reducer you are looking at a lengthy exposure of an hour or more ..

fyi: If you order enough of them from GSO you can have almost any name put on them..
